Furnace Direct is a direct-to-consumer HVAC wholesaler. We supply Goodman furnaces, AC systems, and install kits at warehouse pricing—no middlemen, no markups. You handle the sizing and licensed installation; we handle the product, support, and shipping.


Sizing & Selection

How do I choose the right furnace size?

You can estimate furnace size by square footage, but factors like insulation, ceiling height, and climate matter. Text us your home details at (888) 762-1334, and we’ll help you choose the right BTU range before you buy.

Can you size my furnace for me?

We can guide you based on typical ranges, but we’re not an engineering firm—final sizing should be confirmed by your licensed installer.

What’s the difference between 80% and 96% AFUE?

AFUE measures efficiency.

  • 80% AFUE: standard, vented into chimney or sidewall

  • 96% AFUE: high-efficiency, sealed combustion, lower gas bills

    Both are great options depending on your local climate and venting setup.


Ordering & Shipping

How long does shipping take?

Most furnaces ship within 1–2 business days from our warehouse. Transit time depends on your location—typically 2–5 business days.

Do you offer local pickup?

In select regions, yes. Contact us with your ZIP to confirm local pickup or nearby distributor options.

Can I track my order?

Yes. You’ll get tracking info by email once your shipment leaves the warehouse.

What if something arrives damaged?

Inspect your delivery before signing. If you see damage, note it on the freight receipt and take photos. Email us at sales@furnace.direct within 24 hours and we’ll help file the claim and send replacements.


Installation

Who installs the furnace?

You'll need a licensed HVAC contractor to install your unit. Homeowners can can either pick by finding their own installer, or using one of our Furnace Direct Pros.  Many homeowners save thousands by buying the furnace direct and paying only for installation locally.

Do you provide install kits?

Yes—our Boiler/Furnace Install Kit includes valves, fittings, elbows, and expansion tank so your installer has everything on-hand. Add it on the product page before checkout.

Can I install it myself?

We don’t recommend it. Incorrect installation can void the warranty and create safety hazards. Always use a licensed professional.


 Warranty & Registration

What’s covered under warranty?

Goodman furnaces include a 10-year parts warranty when registered within 60 days of installation. Heat exchangers often carry a lifetime warranty (model-specific).

How do I register my warranty?

Visit GoodmanMFG.com/registration and enter your unit’s serial number along with your installer’s info. It takes 2 minutes and ensures full coverage.

What happens if I don’t register?

Unregistered products default to a 5-year limited warranty instead of 10. Always register within 60 days to get the full protection.


Payment & Financing

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards, Shop Pay Installments, and PayPal. Financing options are available right in checkout through Shop Pay.

Does Shop Pay require a credit check?

For smaller orders, no. For larger split-payments, Shop Pay may do a soft credit check—it doesn’t affect your credit score.
