What it does
A hard-start device is a capacitor/potential-relay combo that provides a burst of extra torque to the compressor at startup. This Kickstart T05 is OEM-approved by Ducane, Goodman, and York for permanent install in 1-3 ton single-phase AC and heat pump compressors (208-265V).
